南兴村是钟山镇下辖的行政村，农业以果园与蔬菜为主。[1]

村名的来历是旧时蒋氏后人在下蒋南兴社定居，聚落由此形成，遂以南兴为名。[1]

经济[edit]

村中山地较多。2004年成立的摩天岭开发区，起因是台商在土妹自然村的山林上开发果园。果园种植的日本甜柿，肉质细嫩，可以生食，销往国内外。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时此地称南兴保，解放前归鲤湖乡管辖；1950年代初在六区、九区之间调整，1956年才并入麦斜区。[1]

1958年起归钟山公社。村民委员会于1984年10月建立，次月起属钟山乡。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年12月，南兴村被认定为「全国乡村治理示范村」；2021年11月，获福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2021年12月，被命名为「2021年度福建省森林村庄」。[1]

2025年11月，南兴村被认定为「福建省第二批省级乡村振兴示范村」。[1]
