白沙村是福建省福州市闽侯县白沙镇下辖的行政村，村域西沿闽江，下辖黎明、埕元、花云三个自然村。[1]

地名与沿革[edit]

在陆路不发达的年代，水路是主要交通方式，福州经闽北通往外省的路线经过此地。渡口设在闽江冲积出的大片白色石英砂沙洲中，村名由此而来。[1]

据博雅地名网，村子在新石器时代已有先民定居，春秋战国时期设有驿站。1984年，白沙村设立村民委员会，至今沿用。[1]

经济[edit]

村民以种植业和务工收入为主，部分人经营第三产业和运输业。村内有脐橙示范基地，2013年全村人均收入为7300元。[1]
