塘头社区是浙江省杭州市萧山区瓜沥镇下辖的社区，地处瓜沥镇老城区，边界以环城东路为东界，酒厂江为南界，殿下路为西界，白洋川为北界。瓜沥又称塘头，社区以此得名。[1][2]

地理与人口[edit]

据区政府网站2022年发布的社区概况，社区2002年12月成立，是南闸、塘下高、殿下、外湖四个居委会的合并体。辖区约1平方公里，划为24个居民小组、三个网格区块，有居民楼33栋，住户1470户；常住3025人，户籍1703人，党员109人。[1]

区内设小学、卫生服务站，另有农贸与水果市场、老年活动中心，公共服务单位之外，小企业与三产店铺也很多。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年5月后，此地属瓜沥镇，原为一至四保，共建4个居民村。1982年调整时，居民村分别称塘下高、殿下、前高、於家溇，并增设外湖村；1985年又增设南闸新村。2002年12月，南闸、塘下高、殿下、外湖四个居委会合并为塘头社区。[1][2]
