石双村隶属高州市荷花镇，是镇下辖的行政村，属镇乡结合区。村名由石古大队与芋双底大队合并而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1961年体制下放时，木头塘、潘龙、平棉等大队各分出一部分，合并成石古大队；1980年改称石双大队，1983年改设乡，1986年改设农村管理区，1999年起为村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]2021年12月，石双村获广东省卫生村称号。[1][2]
经济[edit]
据百度百科，村以农业为主，主产水稻、玉米，兼营养殖；工业靠党员兴办的木器加工厂等企业支撑，全村工业总产值为4527万元。2020年12月，一个规划年出栏生猪50万头的生态养殖项目开工。[2]
