文山村隶属高州市荷花镇，是镇下辖的行政村。据传陈氏先人定居前曾实地察看，见山青水秀，认为风水好、日后必出读书人，便在此安家并取名文山。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
新中国成立前，文山属木头塘乡。1961年从长歧大队分出，以文山为中心点成立文山大队；1983年改设乡，1986年改设农村管理区，1999年起为村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
2019年9月，文山村列入「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位的2018年度名单；同年10月入选2019年广东省卫生村名录。[1]
