历史沿革[edit]
李姓先祖在明景泰年间（1450—1456）由附近长岗村光美里迁来，搭寮居住；其后陆姓先祖自仙洞迁入立村。两处分别称田寮、南昌。[1]1951年，南合、南昌、田寮三地并为南田乡；1961年田寮、南昌各设大队，1986年各设村委会。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
博雅地名网载，村分10个村民小组，面积共3.6平方公里；耕地1800亩，含鱼塘300亩、水稻田1000亩。以种水稻、果蔗和养四大家鱼为主。[1]2023年的规划提出，田南村依托东岸的威立雅海工产业基地，升级村级产业园。[2]
