历史沿革[edit]
相传陈姓先祖在元至正年间（1341—1368）来此定居，村曾名“庚背老陈”，后改称京梅，取“京上梅花年年开”之意。[1]1951年京背、京梅合为双京乡，1961年成立京梅大队，1986年称村委会。[1]
人口与土地[edit]
博雅地名网载，村有9个村民小组，556户，常住人口1755人，占地约3平方公里，距崖西圩约2公里；其中耕作区约1500亩，养殖区1540多亩，林业用地2500亩。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
- 洪圣始祖馆旧址：在村内拱北里，清代建筑，2010年12月被江门市公布为第六批市级文物保护单位。[1]
- 康王庙：在村北部，清光绪年间建，2020年3月被江门市公布为第八批市级文物保护单位。[1]
- 陈享故居，另有近年新建的蔡李佛武术文化广场，以及出神入化巷、梅花三弄巷两处巷景。[1][2]
荣誉与建设[edit]
- 2019年9月，首批「广东省文化和旅游特色村」。[1]
- 2021年4月，江门市文明村镇。[1]
- 2022年10月，第六批中国传统村落。[1]
- 2023年11月，入选广东省“百千万工程”首批典型县镇村；2024年4月，列入广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村创建名单。[1][3]
村里开展“美丽庭院”建设，辅以积分制，成为广东省“美丽庭院”村，并以“功夫小镇”为旅游名片。[2]村内的京梅乡村旅游等强村公司运作中。[3]
