南庄村是佛山市禅城区南庄镇的行政村，总面积4.3平方千米，分13个村民小组，含南庄、罗园、杏边、澳冲四个自然村；户籍居民5700多人，外来务工者3000多人。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1958年10月南庄公社成立时属罗南生产大队，1963年5月从罗南大队分出，单设南庄大队；1983年11月称南庄乡，1987年2月设南庄镇南庄村民委员会，1999年3月复称村民委员会，2002年12月划归禅城区。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
村内的罗园古村，介绍称已有800多年历史，古祠堂近百座，古榕树近百株，四面环水，两条水道穿村而过。清代探花罗文俊出自这里一带，村里修缮他的故居，增设名人馆、村史馆，并组织编写《罗文俊诗文集》和《南庄村村志》。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年2月，南庄村当选首届“中国乡村振兴先锋十大榜样”，介绍称是广东省唯一入选的单位；2023年11月入选「广东“百千万工程”首批典型县镇村」，2024年4月进入「广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村」创建名单。[1][2]
