地名由来[edit]
据博雅地名网，村中刘姓在明代成化年间有祖先义江公任礼部御史，后人以先祖入朝为官为荣，取名官田，盼子孙世代出仕。[1]
经济与民生[edit]
2009年人均纯收入4951元。当时全村有贫困户46户、158人，约占人口的11.2%；1335人参加农村合作医疗，参加率94.7%。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
官田的建制：1949年农会，1954年初级社，1956年高级社，1961年大队，1983年官田乡，1988年管理区，1998年撤区建村并设村民委员会。[1]
