村民主要靠种养和劳务输出维持生计，外出务工者460多人，年劳务收入100多万元。[1]作物有优质稻、甜玉米、细辣椒、花生，另种油茶和毛竹。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
芙蓉在1950年有农会，1954年为初级社，1956年为高级社，1961年为大队；1983年称乡，1988年改管理区；1998年撤区建村，成立村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2024年3月，被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
南雄市政府网站所列南亩镇景点中，有“芙蓉邓坑古银杏群”。[2]
