中寺村是南雄市南亩镇的行政村，海拔600多米，属高寒山区，也是革命老区村，因村委会驻地在中寺而得名。[1]共15个村小组，1520人、317户；辖区19710亩，林地16350亩，耕地1600亩，另有竹林3000亩。[1]

收入以水稻和小辣椒为主，油茶、毛竹也是村民的收入来源；村集体收入主要来自引进外资。[1]村处边远山区，交通不便，产品销路受限。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
建制沿革如下：1949年农会；1953年初级社；1956年高级社；1961年大队；1983年中寺乡；1988年管理区；1998年12月撤区建村，现称中寺村并设村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，被列入2018年度「广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」。[1]
