樟屋村位于南雄市南亩镇北部，离镇政府2.5公里，下设9个村民小组，1603人、379户；“两委”干部5人，党员32人。^[1]总面积8750亩，山林7307亩，耕地2400亩。^[1]

村民靠种养业和劳务输出为生，种水稻、花生、大豆、油茶和蔬菜；2009年村集体收入20000元，人均年收入4400元。^[1]

樟屋1949年设农会；1955年起为初级社，1957年为高级社；1961年成大队，1983年称樟屋乡，1988年成管理区；1998年撤区建村，沿用至今。^[1]

2021年12月，樟屋村获广东省爱卫会授予「2021年广东省卫生村」称号；2026年3月，又被认定为「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」。^[1]
