历史沿革[edit]
鱼鲜村的建制自1949年的农会起步，1954年改为初级社，1956年改为高级社，1961年改称大队；1988年成立管理区，1998年撤区建村，设鱼鲜村村民委员会，沿用至今。[2]
地名由来[edit]
博雅地名网称，村里自古分布着许多小鱼塘，鱼塘把房舍分隔开来，隔塘相望，水光摇动，如同江南水乡，村因此得名。[2]百度百科记其别名有鱼产、鱼溪。[3]
地理环境与人口[edit]
村内有11个村小组，共421户、1961人；土地面积17006亩，其中林地15200亩、耕地1806亩，属典型的边远山区。[2]百度百科另载，全村约有2200人，面积约1200公顷，两者统计口径和年份不同。[3]
经济[edit]
村民主要靠水稻和林地维持收入，集体收入来自荒岭上种植的果树和黄烟。[2]2020年8月，鱼鲜村以茶叶进入广东省农业农村厅公布的「首批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」之列。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
鱼鲜村在2006年6月12日被公布为市、县级文物保护单位，类型为古建筑，年代为明至清。[4]村中老宅的房梁粗大，石柱雕花，门厅古朴，门槛很高。[3]2008年，它被列为广东省首批古村落之一；2018年12月，住建部拟将它列入「第五批中国传统村落名录」，次年6月6日，它正式入选。[3]
花林古寺在村内，面积477平方米，南雄市政府网站称其建于宋初，属重点保护文物。[1]
