白竹村位于洛阳镇东南部，与镇政府相距24公里，在洛阳镇的行政村中唯有它属革命老区，统计用区划代码440232106206。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村后长着一片白竹，村名据此而来。[1]1949年后先设白竹乡，1958年为大队，1983年设乡政府，1986年成立村委会，1989年称管理区，1998年重设村委会。[1]
经济[edit]
村域共40平方公里，其中林业用地7.2万亩、耕地1118亩；7个自然村，989人。2009年，全村农村经济总收入426万元，村委集体收入占其中的21.3万元，人均3916元。[1]2022年10月，白竹村被广东省农业农村厅认定为“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村，主业为猕猴桃；2024年3月命名为2023年广东省卫生村；2026年3月认定为「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」。[1]
