板长村位于洛阳镇西南部，西邻阳山县江英镇，距镇政府35公里，统计用区划代码440232106207。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，此地四周环山，石灰岩多，山上板栗树成片，故名板长。[1]1949年后先设板长乡，1958年为大队，1983年设乡政府，1986年成立村委会，1989年称管理区，1998年重设村委会。[1]
人口民族[edit]
全村10个自然村，175户、854人；林地29755.5亩，耕地1407亩，其中水田521亩；以种花生、玉米为主。[1]资料另载贫困户88户、372人，低保36户、121人（未注年份）。[1]2019年9月，板长村列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位名单」；2024年3月命名为2023年广东省卫生村。[1]
