历史沿革[edit]
因村庄位于武江河东岸，故称东岸。[1]
新中国成立初设东岸乡，1958年改东岸大队，1983年设东岸乡政府，1986年设东岸村委会，1989年称东岸管理区，1998年复称村委会，沿用至今。[1]
人口与经济[edit]

以水稻为主，辅以花生、蔬菜；耕地多低洼，洪涝较频繁。县政府网站称东岸的食用菌已申报“一村一品”。[1][2]
