历史沿革[edit]
村民以莫姓居多，村名由此而来。[1]
新中国成立初设莫家乡，1958年改莫家大队，1983年设莫家乡政府，1986年设莫家村委会，1989年称莫家管理区，1998年复称莫家村委会，沿用至今。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
