历史沿革[edit]
村庄起初只有王姓人家居住，故称王龙围。[1]
新中国成立初设王龙围乡，1958年改王龙围大队，1983年设王龙围乡政府，1986年设王龙围村委会，1989年称王龙围管理区，1998年复称村委会，沿用至今。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
据该页所载，共395户、1760人，耕地1513亩，其中水田1410亩（未注年份）。[1]
种植以水稻为主，经济作物有西瓜；地势低洼，多数农田遇洪涝即受淹。县政府网站介绍，镇内特产王龙围香米出自该村，并正与温山合建“温山—王龙围共富村”项目。[1][2]

2026年1月，获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」。[1]
