历史沿革[edit]
村名的由来是先民落户时见附近有七个土墩，排列如北斗七星。[1]
新中国成立初设七星墩乡，1958年改七星墩大队，1983年设七星墩乡政府，1986年设七星墩村委会，1989年称七星墩管理区，1998年复称村委会，沿用至今。[1]
人口与经济[edit]

以水稻为主，辅以花生、蔬菜；村子先后遭遇2006年“7·15”洪水与2008年“6·13”特大洪水，房屋和水利设施损毁，部分田地因无法灌溉而撂荒。[1]
