基岗村是广东省广州市增城区仙村镇下辖的行政村，面积2.5平方千米，辖13个生产合作社，有荔新公路、广惠高速、石新公路和仙村大道经过；仙进奉荔枝即选自本村。^[1]^[2]

地名由来[edit]

据传始祖陈鹤公建村时，先把大裘放在田基的高岗上才动工，村起名基裘岗，后简称基岗。^[1]

1254年（南宋宝祐年间），陈梦庚由仙村桥头迁来立村。解放初期属上境乡；1952年村名由基裘岗改作基岗；1956年的高级社叫光辉社；1958年为基岗大队，1983年为基岗乡，1987年起设基岗村民委员会。^[1]

百度百科的条目称，仙进奉荔枝的品种来源是基岗村的一株实生荔枝，由广东省农业科学院果树研究所选育，审定编号粤审果2011009。^[2]2021年9月，基岗村因仙进奉荔枝列入「第二批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」。^[1]

2023年4月列入「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位；2023年11月列入「广东“百千万工程”首批典型县镇村」；2024年11月获「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」和「2024年广州市高质量就业社区（村）」认定。^[1]
