因在仙村圩的上面，故称上境。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
解放初期称上境乡，1956年的高级社叫星民社，1958年改为上境大队，1983年复称上境乡，1987年起设上境村民委员会。[1]
概况[edit]
博雅地名网所录资料称，全村耕地约2500亩，13个合作社，常住2983人；村民以种植和养殖为主，村里把旧村改造作为新农村建设重点，曾为增城市新农村建设试点和文明示范村建设试点。2024年11月获「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」认定。[1]
