地名由来[edit]
村因建在邻村的街头而得名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
解放初期这里属下西乡。1956年立巷头高级社，1958年与敢吓合编神山大队，次年巷头单独成大队；1983年为巷头乡，1987年起设巷头村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
博雅地名网所录资料称，村民约2030人，耕地1968亩，以种植荔枝等作物为主；因村道较偏僻，集体经济和生活条件相对落后。2024年11月获「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」认定。[1]
