龙塘村因村中水塘泉水长流、水质清澈，形似水龙而得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

建国后属云浮县第七区。1958年编为东坝镇龙塘大队，1983年划入东坝区，设大来乡人民政府。1989年曾设龙塘管理区，1999年改为村委会。[1]

村内有3条自然村。[2]2021年12月，广东省爱卫会授予龙塘村「2021年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号。[1]

村子获得过「广东省生态文明建设示范村」与「广东省文明村」两项称号，并于2017年入选全国文明村。2024年起，它成为广东省「百千万工程」典型村。[2][3]

文化[edit]

伏龙炮会是村中的传统民俗，每年正月十三举行，当天有高台表演、醒狮舞龙和燃放彩炮。民间艺术团队还会沿龙塘庙会路线巡游，表演舞狮、舞龙和人物扮装。[2]
