新丰村在镇西部山区，与陆河县接壤，离镇区11千米。部分村民迁往陆河定居。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1977年至1983年间为新丰大队。1984年2月，大队改设乡政府；1986年成立新丰村民委员会，1990年划为新丰管理区，1999年又称新丰村委会，延续至今。[1]

2019年9月，本村上榜「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2021年12月获「2021年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号。[1]
