龙江村地处揭西县五云镇西北部，临近省道238线，属红色革命老区，人口3460人、689户（博雅地名网）。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年至1983年，此地为龙岗大队。1984年撤大队，设龙岗乡政府；1986年改设龙江村民委员会，1990年设龙岗管理区办事处，1999年才定为龙江村委会。[2]

地理与经济[edit]

村内耕地693亩，山地8179亩。农业以种植沙葛、沙姜为主，产品销往周边地区。村中生猪养殖有一定规模，多数养猪户建有沼气池。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

九厅十八井旧址位于村中，修建于清代乾隆年间，建筑形式独特。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，该村上榜「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
