龙溪村是潮安区归湖镇下辖的行政村，位于镇驻地东南约0.6华里处。它东面与金光乡相望，西面靠近葫芦市，南面接金丰村，北面与溪口村、狮峰村相邻。全村方圆1.07平方公里。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年公社化时，此地归东梨大队。1974年，龙溪独自成立「龙溪大队」；1999年改称龙溪村民委员会，名称沿用至今。[1]

1973年，龙溪村与金光、金丰两地合办「金溪小学」，该校今为归湖中心小学。[1]

姓氏宗族[edit]

村中有王、刘、陈三姓。王姓于明弘治元年（1488年）开始在此定居，始祖观力公从汤头大房迁来，是王大宝的后裔。刘姓于明弘治九年（1496年）开始在此定居，始祖赞东公来自饶平阳康石井刘。陈姓于清康熙四十九年（1710年）开始在此定居，始祖廷耀公来自溪口菜园尾。[1]
