名称由来[edit]
溪水流向蜿蜒如龙，因此叫龙溪[1]。
建制沿革[edit]
龙溪村一带在1949年后先设龙溪乡，1958年改称龙溪大队，1983年成立龙溪乡政府，1986年设村民委员会，1989年改设管理区，1998年重设村民委员会，此后名称不变[1]。
人口与经济[edit]
据博雅地名网所载数字（未注年份），全村224户1013人，耕地412亩，其中水田269亩；山林5万亩，有林面积2500亩。产业基础薄弱而分散，少数人家养鱼和种稻，村民饮水问题尚未全部解决[1]。2019年9月，龙溪村进入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」之列[1]。
