横江村是广东省潮州市潮安区东凤镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域东北部，北临韩江，江对岸为江东镇的上湖村与下湖村。博雅地名网记载，截至2013年，村内有765户、3564人；耕地856亩，另有鱼池36亩和果园269亩。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村创建于宋朝末年。初期居民有黄、蔡、陶、杜、辜、吕、肖、姚等姓，其后多数姓氏外迁，只剩姚姓留居，并繁衍至今。村后有韩江流过，故乡名曾称横溪，又称横砂、凤砂。民国元年（1912年）改为横江村。[1]

1930年至1945年间，村先后归中桂乡和鲲博联乡管辖，1946年编为南桂乡第七保。解放初期，村曾与博士、肖洪两村合组博江乡，1956年并入鲲博乡。1958年以村名设「横江大队」，1999年改为横江村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2019年9月，村进入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位的名单。[1]
  • 2023年5月，广东省爱卫会授予村「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
