横山村位于石排镇西部，沿东江南岸延伸约3公里。村域面积约3.38平方公里，下辖谢屋、上宝潭、钟屋、下宝潭、横山、砖窑头6条自然村。[1]

村内宝潭康王庙为明清时期古建筑，2002年被列为广东省文物保护单位；“康王出巡”民俗已有近五百年历史，2007年录入广东省非物质文化遗产名录。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

博雅地名网记，横山村始建于雍正年间。1951年建立民主乡，归云山乡管辖，此后经历了互助组、初级农业社等阶段。[2]

人口与经济[edit]

户籍2346人，外来人员逾万。村内建有大基、谢屋、上宝潭三个工业区，约有规模企业50家。[1]集体经济方面，2025年村组收入为5564万元，增幅为11.14%。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

宝潭康王庙为明清时期建筑，见证了本地的宗教与民间习俗。2002年由省有关部门批准为省级文物保护单位。[1]

民俗[edit]

每年农历十月初一至十五，村里都要举行「康王出巡」，这项习俗延续近五百年。2007年，它被列入「广东省非物质文化遗产」。[1][3]
