田边村位于石排镇西部，全村面积约4.2平方公里，辖田边、水吉、盘岭、石贝、鲤鱼洲5个自然村。东距石排镇中心区约4公里，北面隔江与博罗县园洲镇相望。^[1]^[2]

村内的盘岭王氏宗祠公园于2025年被评为省级古树公园，是石排镇唯一的古树公园。燕岭古采石场遗址一段位于田边村与燕窝村之间。^[1]^[3]

人口与经济[edit]

户籍2255人，外来人口约一万二千余。2025年村社两级收入合计3640万元，较去年同期多了171万元。两级资产合计28351万元。^[1]

村内规划有大基、田边、石贝、盘岭四个工业区，吸引约186家企业落户，其中规模以上企业30家，有外资企业。^[1]村里还建有大基、水吉、石贝3栋工业大厦。^[1]

村内有潇湴湖、海仔湖、鲤鱼洲与红石山公园，合称“两湖一洲一石”。^[1]

盘岭王氏宗祠公园于2025年申报成功为省级古树公园，是石排镇唯一的古树公园。^[1]

燕岭古采石场遗址位于燕窝村至田边村的一段山体上，遗址为东莞唯一的红砂岩采石场遗址，2002年升格为广东省文物保护单位。^[3]
