村里守住了约百亩的水稻生产，另种反季节高山蔬菜，还尝试订单式种植。以「企业+村集体+农户」模式发展的规模化生猪养殖，配合分布式光伏，使水稻、养殖、果蔬与光伏并举，拓宽了集体收入。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2021年12月，广东省爱卫会授予山塘村「2021年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号。广东省乡村振兴局在2022年1月将山塘村定为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」的创建单位。2024年3月，山塘村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
