垌上有两条河在垌中交汇，故名合垌；博雅地名网称这里有人居住已逾一千年[2]。
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，该村的名称与建制依次为：民国时期：德良上乡十五村、合垌社（1953年）、合垌大队（1962年）、设乡政府（1983年）、合垌村民委员会，此后称管理区办事处（1987年）、复称村民委员会（1999年）[1]。
荣誉[edit]
- 2023年5月，广东省爱卫会授予「2022年广东省卫生村」称号[1]
