龙塘村是广东省清远市英德市九龙镇下辖的行政村，位于镇西南部。全村辖19个村民小组、15个自然村，村名取自附近鱼塘的形势。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村附近有一口鱼塘，从高处俯瞰，形如蛟龙腾飞，村名由此而来。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村子山多地少，气候适宜，土质较好，适合种植竹木。山林面积12520亩，笋竹1200亩。耕地面积1443亩。[1]

经济[edit]

村里过去以水稻、玉米和花生为主。改革开放后调整作物布局，种植适销的经济作物。2008年，全村种植蔬菜6500亩，水果（砂糖橘、马水橘）912亩。村内矿产较丰富，有金矿和铁矿。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

建国后此地为龙塘社，1958年设龙塘大队；1983年转为龙塘乡；1986年起称龙塘村委会；1990年成为龙塘管理区；1998年10月7日重新设立村委会，延续至今。[1]
