新丰村是广东省阳江市阳西县溪头镇下辖的行政村，村委会驻地原为新丰村，因此沿用了这一名称。[1]

地名由来[edit]

岛上有峰头耸立，早先称峰头岛。“峰”与“丰”同音，故又称丰头；1989年改名新丰村。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1953年设丰济乡，属阳江县第十四区；1957年划入溪头区溪头乡。1959年建丰头大队，同年改属溪头人民公社，1983年设丰头乡。[3]

1987年2月组建丰头村委会，1989年改为渔业管理区，1999年村委会得以恢复。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，新丰村名列「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单。[1]
