新洲镇是广东省阳江市阳东区下辖的镇，位于区境东南部，东与台山市北陡镇相接，北邻恩平市，西与大沟镇接壤，南靠东平镇。全镇下辖16个行政村和2个社区，耕地约5.8万亩[1]。这里以荔枝种植为主，豆豉、花生、西瓜、辣椒和黄鬃鹅也是当地的主要物产。境内有新洲沸泉，紫罗山、沙不丁墓、北桂村永昌堂等古迹与革命遗址也在镇域之内[1][3]。

历史沿革[edit]

清代，新洲一带属原阳江县长乐乡乔马都。1957年撤区并乡，此地先后设新洲、北桂、三山、良桐四乡；1958年新洲乡并入海陆公社，随后改称大沟公社，1959年又自大沟分出新洲公社[2]。1983年公社改为新洲区，1987年区改为新洲镇[2]。1988年至1991年6月属阳东区，1991年起属阳东县[2]。

新洲镇名的来历，据博雅地名网所载，清宣统三年（1911年）圩镇建在一块荒洲上，因此得名[5]。2003年，三山镇辖区并入新洲镇，表竹、东安、乌石等村随之归属新洲镇。博雅地名网的镇级历史页写作2003年7月，村情页则说三山镇于2003年11月撤销，两说相差数月，此处取前者[2][4]。

地理环境[edit]

镇域依山近海，西北与东南多山。紫罗山是镇内的主要山脉，主峰海拔793米，是新洲镇与台山市北陡镇之间的界山，山中有南坑水库、夏水水库以及瀑布和溪流[6]。寿长河红树林国家湿地公园位于新洲、东平、大沟三镇交界处，总面积约424公顷，其中红树林约140公顷[3]。

经济[edit]

2004年，全镇工农业产值合计3.55亿元，农业一项2.5亿元，工业1.05亿元，当年农民人均收入4127元[1]。农业上，镇里规划了十大商品基地，涵盖荔枝、西瓜、辣椒、花生与生猪养殖，另有水稻、蔬菜、水产、三鸟和林业。冬季田园农业每年冬种约3.4万亩，以西瓜和尖椒为主[1]。

荔枝是镇内的支柱果品，种植面积约8.2万亩，据博雅地名网，本镇荔枝园面积位居全省前列。所产「双肩玉荷包」荔枝曾获中国农业博览会命名的「中国荔枝王」称号[1]。

工业方面，镇在县城工业园设有三区，首期开发面积22.38万平方米，已有19家企业新购地。镇内新宝工业区约5万平方米，全镇有企业30家，其中规模较大的是金冠线业有限公司[1]。

名胜古迹[edit]

新洲沸泉是一处温泉，博雅地名网称其流量在全省居首、水温最高，达102摄氏度，中心泉眼日流量3960立方米。以此泉命名的新洲沸泉度假村距新洲圩约5公里，广东西部沿海高速在镇境内设有出入口[1][3]。

新洲烈士陵园所在的黑台岭位于新洲圩西南。1953年6月23日，在阳江县新洲区党政机关倡导下，这里建立了烈士纪念碑。解放战争时期，当地游击队员在滨海纵队属下的恩阳-立大队参加战斗六十余次，有19人牺牲[3]。

沙不丁墓在石岗村的沙帽山腰，面向南坑水库，墓为灰沙青砖结构，占地约24平方米，封土高2.1米，墓前竖青石碑。墓主沙不丁是蒙古人，元末任德庆路达鲁花赤，官至太尉，驻军广东。他在恩平境内去世，时在洪武三年（1370年）。据《阳江县志》（1924年）所载，其子将他葬在阳江新洲的那笃鸡岭背南坑，道光年间墓地被人侵葬，经官府查究后迁至现址[3][7]。

北桂村永昌堂建于1939年，属第三批阳江市文物保护单位[3]。禾叉坳山庄位于北股村北面约2公里，庄中一座客家土楼古宅占地约5000平方米，为6巷7幢并列对称的连房布局，墙体用灰沙、黄泥和红糖夯筑。现存建筑大体为清代光绪年间所建，前排数幢已改为两层砖木房屋，后座仍保留旧貌[3][8]。

上六村的丹竹坑村又名白鹤村，距新洲圩约15公里，村旁松林、竹林和果林环绕。二十多年来，白鹤在此栖息繁衍，村民对它们十分爱护[3]。
