历史沿革[edit]

1949年至1958年，此地为山下乡，1958年至1983年为山下大队。1987年至1989年改为山下村，1990年至1999年为山下管理区，1999年设立村民委员会[1]。

文化[edit]

2026年1月，该村被认定为广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村[1]。2021年1月，河源市文明委把2020年度河源市文明村一项授予该村[1]。2021年12月，该村获2021年广东省卫生村荣誉称号[1]。2019年9月，该村被列入2018年广东省民主法治示范村创建单位的名单[1]。
