新葫村在广东省汕尾市陆丰市八万镇所在地的西南方，距陆丰市区17公里，距镇政府5公里。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
此地原先在大安区甘葫乡一带，1958年是甘葫大队的一部分。由于说话习惯和生计与八万接近，1966年并入八万公社，成立新葫大队。此后建乡（1983年，隶八万区），改村委会（1987年），称管理区（1994年），1999年定名村民委员会。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
全村约7.5平方公里，有自然村9个、人口1975人，另有水泥路通往陆丰市区和八万镇。山上种速生桉、菠萝和荔枝，水田种稻和花生。[1]自然村有陂各、山下、红夫、洋窝、胡屋、径仔、三径、红星、至寮。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2020年12月获广东省爱卫会授予「2020年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
