下葫村位于广东省汕尾市陆丰市八万镇北片，在碣博河公路旁约1公里处，距镇政府9公里，距陆丰市区35公里。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
新中国成立初期称下葫乡，属第九区（大安区）；1959年成下葫大队，划入八万公社；1983年复称乡，隶八万区；1987年改为村委会，1994年称管理区，1999年重设村委会，沿用至今。[1]
经济与村落[edit]
全村有19个村民小组，总人口5000多人，地处山区丘陵。村里引进了陆丰最大的花岗岩采石场作为集体收入来源，山上种速生桉，水田种稻、花生，另有鱼塘养殖和生猪养殖。[1]下辖下学堂、新楼、青陇、排仔里、立新、水背、禾町头等21个自然村。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，下葫村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2023年5月，获广东省爱卫会授予「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
