石湖村是上坪镇的行政村。村名取自村内石圳坑的“石”字与雁湖的“湖”字，村域由雁湖、石圳坑、田心坝三个自然村组成。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年解放后，石湖与金龙合设村政府。1957年称石湖管区，1958年改为大队，1983年设石湖乡政府。1986年起为村委会，1989年一度改为管理区，1999年重设村委会。[1]

荣誉与产业[edit]

2019年10月，村庄列入2019年广东省卫生村名录。镇政府推行“一村一品”，石湖油茶是村级产业之一。[1][2]
