新中国成立后期，本村属龙母区的塔东乡。1977年与东塘共为一个生产队，1983年分立为长东乡的一部分，1986年起为村委会，1999年村委会重新设立。[1]

规划与荣誉[edit]

2024年，村庄列入镇里创建美丽宜居村的名单。[2]

2024年3月，村庄被命名为2023年广东省卫生村。[1]
