历史沿革[edit]
长坑原归南告大队，1973年划出，立为长坑大队。1984年3月，乡政府取代大队；1986年称村委会，1990年称管理区，1999年起称村民委员会，沿用至今。[1] 村下自然村有朱派、南各、嶂背。[2]
自然与经济[edit]
村里分布着国家二级保护动物大鲵（当地称娃娃鱼）。[1] 村委引导村民种芥菜、红薯等增加收入。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，长坑村名列「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
