历史沿革[edit]
民国时期，这里属八区捷轮乡。1949年11月撤销保甲制，设区、乡，成立长坑行政村，仍归八区捷轮乡；1953年改归八区青冲乡；1956年12月合作化之后，划归双捷区双捷乡。1958年11月称长坑管理区，同年并入茅针坡、新村、木桥村；1971年又并入七一村。1983年撤公社，设长坑乡，隶属双捷区；1987年改为长坑村委会，后又称管理区。1988年划入阳东区双捷镇，1991年改隶阳东县，1999年4月重设长坑村委会，2003年划归江城区双捷镇。[1][2][3]
经济[edit]
2020年8月，本村以粉蕉入选首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村。[1]
文化[edit]
2019年9月，本村被列入2018年度广东省民主法治示范村（社区）的创建名单。2021年12月，长坑一村、长坑二村、会新村、大氹村先后获评2021年度阳江市卫生村。[1]
