长坑村是南雄市坪田镇下辖的行政村，设6个村小组，486户、2289人，耕地3367亩（村情材料未注明年份）[1]。

村名的说法是：建村时周边地势高低不平，村落顺着地势拉成长条，故称长坑[1][2]。村的前身是1950年的长坑农会，之后经历高级社、大队、乡、管理区，1998年成立村民委员会[1]。
荣誉[edit]
长坑村2023年5月获省爱卫会授予2022年度广东省卫生村称号；2026年3月，又被认定为“百千万工程”典型村镇（广东省第三批）[1]。
