沿革[edit]
1949年，村地属第七区，1956年设塘围乡。1958年11月，塘围与大八并为红旗人民公社；同年12月起归塘坪人民公社，成为其中的塘围生产大队。1961年5月改属塘围人民公社，同年年底复归塘坪人民公社。1983年公社改区，设塘坪区塘围乡；1987年改设塘坪镇的塘围管理区。1999年为塘坪镇塘围村委会，2003年10月改设为塘围村委会，此后沿用至今。[1][2]
