历史沿革[edit]

新庄村的建置依次为：附城公社新樟大队（1958年）、黄花公社新樟大队（1961年）、附城公社新樟大队（1963年）、附城区新樟乡（1983年）、附城乡新庄村委会（1987年）、新庄管理区（1989年）、附城镇新庄村委会（1999年）。2009年7月起属紫城镇。[1]

这一带原叫“樟村”，后分成上樟、下樟两村，下樟在河流下游，故称下樟。1952年原水口村并入下樟，新的村称新樟，其后改作新庄。[2]
