历史沿革[edit]

林田村的沿革：1958年为附城公社的林田大队，1961年改隶林田公社，1963年复归附城公社；1983年为附城区林田乡，1987年为附城乡的村委会，1989年改称林田管理区，1999年成为附城镇的林田村委会；2009年7月划入紫城镇。^[1]

村名与农田灌溉有关：村里的稻田分布在秋江河两岸，过去常缺水，要靠人挑水浇禾；二十世纪八十年代改用电力排灌。^[2]
