青山村是汕尾市陆丰市河东镇北部的村委会，2015年成立，村委会驻蕉坑村，辖蕉坑、芸头、燕东3个自然村，是革命老区村。[1][2]

名称与沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，村名取自芸头村的青山仔：青山仔与蕉坑山相连，又处在三个村的中心、交通方便，故以青山命名村委会。[2]

地理与人口[edit]

村距镇政府7.5公里，东临后陂村，南接高田村，西连螺河，北与大安镇交界。地处丘陵，平均海拔122米，其中蕉坑鼓山高380米；省道S240从旁经过，离霞湖高速路口约8公里。[1][2]

全村3个村民小组，427户3200人，较多的姓氏有韩、林、胡、张、王、黄等；常住1800人，外出务工者1400人，占48%，主要去广州、深圳。土地总面积4平方千米多，耕地2600亩，山地2560亩，森林覆盖率50%。[1]

革命历史与习俗[edit]

蕉坑村被称为红色革命村，村政府页说大革命时期彭湃曾几次来村指导土地革命。村里的建筑以潮汕风格为主，兼有海陆丰福佬文化的元素；传统节庆食品是用糯米粉、水和红糖蒸成的年糕。[1][2]
