欧厝村是汕尾市陆丰市河东镇的村委会，在陆丰城区西北，离城区约5公里，辖区面积9平方千米，村民以欧姓为主，分欧厝一村、二村、三村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

博雅地名网说，欧姓先祖在元末明初（1365年至1370年）从福建迁来定居。1949年这里是第一区（军潭区）的欧厝乡，1961年起为炎龙公社的欧厝大队；此后在城东镇治下，1987年叫欧厝村委会，1994年叫管理区；1997年欧厝随河东镇建镇划出，1999年再称村委会。[2]

地理与人口[edit]

村东与大屯村相邻，南接后坎村，西接高田村，北界后陂村，离霞湖高速路口约5公里。全村632户4198人，常住2756人，外出者多在广州、深圳、惠州、珠海等地经商或打工。[1]

经济[edit]

耕地3000亩，实际耕种1300亩，已流转933亩；山地3000亩，九成有林木覆盖。特产有鹰嘴桃（100亩）、番薯（200亩）和荔枝（50亩）。[1]2020年度农民人均可支配收入为20050.68元，来源主要是种水稻、花生和外出务工。[1]博雅地名网另记，2021年9月，欧厝村以沉香名列广东省农业农村厅公布的第二批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村。[2]

文化[edit]

村内欧厝三村中心有天后宫（妈祖庙）1座；村被称为革命红色村。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2021年12月：获2021年广东省卫生村称号，由广东省爱卫会授予。[2]
  • 2022年1月：广东省乡村振兴局把它列为2021年度乡村治理示范村的创建单位。[2]
  • 2024年1月：入选2023年度省民主法治示范村（社区）。[2]
  • 2026年1月：成为广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[2]
