埔仔村是海城镇西部的山村，村庄位于四面环山的峒田之中，原是一片草埔，因此得名。[1]

地名由来[edit]

据博雅地名网，村子坐落在群山环抱的峒（坰）田里，那里本是草地，故叫埔仔。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年10月，埔仔村入选广东省卫生村名单；2026年1月，被评为广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村。[1]
