总寮社区在海丰县海城镇北部，莲花山通往鸡鸣寺的路旁，面积约2.0116平方千米，辖3个居民小组，约1052人，是一个因采矿而形成的聚落。[1]

地名由来与历史沿革[edit]

1950年之后，外地人纷纷上银瓶山采矿，就近搭起茅寮栖身；1952年国家办起银瓶山矿站，修了厂区宿舍，聚落成形，得名总寮。后来在1986年设为莲花山乡的总寮居委，2004年称总寮居委会。[1]

地理与经济[edit]

社区在丘陵地带，离汕尾市区11公里。近年来引进投资者发展餐饮，并带动村民种养。[1]

荣誉[edit]

总寮社区在2019年10月进入当年的广东省卫生村名录。[1]
